When you book me for photography; I give you the CD allowing you to make unlimited digital prints for personal use. This is the equivalent of my giving you the negatives for making all the pictures that you want. I spend as much time as needed to digitally enhance the pictures making you look your best. The editing usually takes more time that the photo-shoots. I always take many duplicate pictures, also called overshooting, to account for a number of pictures when the subjects blink or make unfavorable facial expressions that you may not wish to use. It is always wise to have many pictures of the same poses and people to choose the very best pictures for your prints. This is an extra that some photographers may not offer. I truly love my work and it is my passion in life. I have been told that I am a perfectionist and I feel that the quality of my work reflects that in my personality. The proof is in the pudding someone once said.
The time that I spend at the wedding or event is just the beginning of my work. If I take 100 pictures and spend 5 minutes average on each image, digitally enhancing and editing it, then I shall work over 8 additional hours of time on your wedding pictures. I have a portfolio DVD and a photo-album for your review. I am a photojournalist for a small national weekly newspaper and I have press credentials to prove it.
I have an officiant that I work with and he sometimes doubles as a lighting assistant and/or 2nd photographer when you book us as a package. Some photographers charge up to double for a lighting assistant. An assistant is useful to line up the parents and the rest of the guests for the group pictures of the family.
This way you are not spending your money while I waste my time looking for guests to take their pictures. This is not cost effective, so an assistant can free me to concentrate on just taking pictures. This saves you money, especially with a large number of wedding guests. After the posed pictures are over the lighting assistant doubles as a 2nd photographer, who can roam and take pictures at the reception dinner of the guests, while I concentrate on the bridal party.
Wedding photographers are many in number and wedding photography is truly an art form. I have a list of suggested wedding pictures that I strive to take, such as the rings, party favors, wedding cake and the decorations. I am happy to travel to Jupiter, West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale to Miami. This includes Martin, Palm Beach, Broward to Dade Counties.
I would love to speak to you soon.
